“Town for Sale at Dallas’ Ochre House is a wild, side-splitting ride.”
Welcome to Ochre House’s singular brand of handmade theater, cramming lighthearted if pointed send-ups of late capitalism into a converted 50-seat storefront in Exposition Park.

Definitely a must-see for adventurous folks who love live theater.
Artist-in-Residence Justin Locklear’s Town for Sale, a marvelously peculiar musical romance between a small resort town and a hopeful buyer, has an especially charming carnival allure.

TOWN FOR SALE
Written and directed by Justin Locklear
A secluded resort town has passed its prime, and the current residents are stuck in a place which could disappear from the map at any time. Known originally for its magical healing spring water, the town now sits relatively vacant of tourists, with only a few locals working the only remaining hotel. A stranger arrives with a mysterious plan, and he is quickly caught up in a mistaken identity. Can his intentions be unraveled before the town disappears for good? A magical world of bright characters, bizarre turns, and delicious music awaits!
