Thank you.

Times are weird. A poor southern family, caught up in addictions and intense storms, literal and metaphorical, bemoans the collapse of their American Dream (don’t we all?). Even weirder, their shortcomings swirl them into what could only be explained as a bardo, the Buddhist transitional state between death and rebirth. What they discover about their lives takes live original music, shadow play techniques, projections, puppetry, and a skillful and wickedly sharp cast. Plus, everything is spoken in verse. DO NOT miss this provocative evening of risk-taking theater staged in the inimitable Ochre House style.

*NOTICE: This show uses flashing lights.*

“Another wild and crazy (and surprisingly touching) premiere at Ochre House Theater, a company dedicated to original scripts and barely controlled mayhem.”
